Homecoming Week 2026

When Glenn & Kim founded this company, they had a great attraction to part-time moms. Women looking for meaningful work, in a limited time constraint (around their kid’s schedule) just like our founders had been doing. While that is still the case for many employees, it is not the case for all anymore; as you can tell from our staff page.

Hear more about our founders story in our Answering the Call post.

What I don’t think even they could imagine (well, maybe Glenn could) was that over three decades later, this company would need a week to bring together all the employees that are scattered across the US! A while back we started making sure all remote staff found their way back to the office at least once a year. Getting to see people in real life, not just over Zoom or Teams calls is an importance piece of our culture.

Homecoming Day

This year, we wanted to make a bigger deal out of that fact and announced a company-wide Homecoming Week. With a special day where even both offices would be in the same place for the day.

So, we met in the middle for a day full of events. Eating, chatting, hugging, Chapel, friendly competition, and pictures were all involved. And if you know us, that sounds right up our alley.

We hired a photographer, caterer, and even a team to lead us in games. One of our clients came down to lead our Chapel time and the games coordinator even crowned the Homecoming Court. Y’all it was so good for the soul.

Not everyone’s company looks like ours – however many do. But if you take one thing from this post, let it be to hire out as much as possible and let your team enjoy each other’s company for an afternoon. Your culture will thank you. Your team will thank you. And you will be blessed.

In closing, we will leave you with a few pictures from that October day. And stay tuned for other posts from the week later on the blog.
