Have you heard of the Hewlett-Packard Co.’s Golden Banana Award? An HP manager wanted to instantly award an employee when he presented the solution to a problem they were having. With nothing around but his lunch, the manager handed over his banana as the prize. Now, the Golden Banana Award is the most coveted award at that company.

Miller Management had a similar revelation one day, and found a stress ball in the shape of a brain. Perfect for the now coveted Brainiac Award!

Lisa Coonfare received {another} award for her tenacity in accomplishing a huge goal with one of our software programs. Her second award just after her second MM anniversary.

New Chief of Staff

While this title may be new to Miller Management, the person receiving the title is not a new face. Our beloved Jennifer Ross has been promoted to Chief of Staff here at Miller Management.

This promotion was mostly to help clarify the roles that Mrs. Ross was already performing. We are very thankful for the time, energy, and talent she has put into her nine years of service at Miller Management.

One such change occurred in December when I asked Jennifer to become what we are labeling ‘VP of Operations and Chief of Staff.’ Jennifer is now in charge of all aspects of production from pickups and deliveries to the end product of financial statements. Her main job is to coordinate, train, and assist her wonderful team of talented managers and team leads to provide the best possible products and services for our clients. In addition, this move is also designed to leverage not only her operational skills and talent, but to also free up my schedule to do more conferences, training, book writing, and consulting.” – Glenn A.
