The Faithful Investor: A Biblical Framework for Stewardship
Why invest? Here’s the radical truth: we are stewards, not owners. As churches, we have a divine obligation to fruitfully multiply the Master’s resources rather than burying them in fear. In this course, we will distinguish between biblical investing and gambling. Showing how providing capital for productive growth serves our neighbors and creates value, whereas gambling is a zero-sum game rooted in chance. The experts will define a framework for “steady plodding” that identifies when to pursue opportunities for provision and when to refrain from the “hasty speculation” that leads to poverty.
