Excellence: Core Value #2

After our January Chapel, we decided to run a series on our core values because it may not be something our clients see all that much. But even if you don’t see it written out, our hope is that you still get the overall experience; even when you might not put the same label on it that we did. And that’s okay.
So, let’s get started.
If you missed Core Value #1, you may want to start here.
Core Value #2
We will seek to carry out our responsibilities with Excellence.
Within our ability, each staff member of MM works to the best of their ability. Every. Single. Day. Yes, we will still make mistakes, we aren’t perfect. We actually aren’t accounting robots over here. But our goal is still excellence.
Oxford definition of excellence: “the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.”
Our goal is not “good enough” or “just get it done.” It’s excellence. On each payroll, each financial statement, each accounts payable check, and each contribution entry.
Similar to our caveat on #1, our excellence still includes best practices and anti-fraud measures. We are holding ourselves and our clients to the excellent standard of utilizing best practices in defining an employee vs. contractor. Making sure there is accountability when it comes to counting money. And following all IRS laws with each check request.
Which is why so many of you partner with us to handle all these extra rules & regulations surrounding ministerial taxes, for example. If you have questions regarding best practices (excellence) surrounding a certain topic, we suggest utilizing our Resources section, searching our blog, or contacting your MM representative. We’re here to help.
