August 2023
Happy August!
It’s here: back to school month! If summer drug on, went too fast, or were just another date on the calendar; either way, we want to provide some helpful items to make it through this month.
Normally, August tends to be a packed and sometimes stressful month. {And we almost hate to say it, but Year-End will be here before we know it!} With a couple simple steps, you can create a habit of organization, so even year-end won’t be a stressful time!
If you are needing some tools to help you glide through August, we’ve created a couple items for you:
- A blank calendar to keep track of all those important items floating around in your head. No more guessing about “what’s going on today?”
- You will also find a Meal Planning Worksheet – where you can plan out your whole week of meals and shopping list. To hopefully lessen the somewhat dreaded question, “what’s for dinner?” when it’s already after 5 pm.
- You could also utilize our Level 1 Monthly worksheet and customize it to fit your family’s monthly budget. Because we wouldn’t be us if we didn’t bring this back to finances!

Creating an Organizational Habit
If you block out a few hours each week to update your calendar, plan out some meals, and even head to the store, you will set yourself up for success in a big way. This can leave you some extra room in your schedule for family time, a walk outside, reading a book, or enjoying your hobby! And like we mentioned before, if you start now, by December you’ll be an old pro and the holiday season might not seem so stressful as well!
