Top 8 Reasons to Outsource: Safety

Let’s first define what we mean by Safety. In this post, we want to highlight areas of protection in your data and also your people. When you are an institute that is handling donations, it is vital to make sure that information is secure.

Safety of People
As a church or non-profit, there may be times when you have events in your building. Of course, this can include a church’s normal weekly services. When you are responsible for that many people, investing in security is something that may be necessary for your congregation.
While MM doesn’t provide that kind of protection, we do have some resources for you in that area. Your organization may be able to handle this aspect on your own by having a ministry designed for safety and intruder protocols. But this may also be a good time to outsource your resources, so your ministry can focus on it’s true mission; and let the professionals take care of the keeping people safe aspect.

When dealing with constituents donations, it’s a good idea to have a plan in place for disaster recovery and ensuring correct data entry is performed for tax reasons. While it may seem trivial to care about these things, when a disaster occurs, protecting your financial information is a big step in data safety.
That’s when outsourcing may be the best step for your ministry. Outsourcing companies, like Miller Management, are equipped to handle everything from the data entry, to the necessary IT securities, to the correct and timely distribution of financial and contribution statements.
