Congratulations!

We are excited to announce that Glenn Miller, co-founder and CEO of Miller Management, has earned his Doctorate in Educational Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary! Glenn’s dissertation topic was “Reducing Fraud in Ministry.” Thanks to Glenn’s hard work and study we now have a wealth of new resources and knowledge to help us combat financial fraud in ministry.

Dr. Miller has worked with and for several churches through his career. With those positions has had seen the good and the bad that takes place in ministries. Glenn has often said that “Fraud is a silent killer in churches.” Today, fraud is rampant but it is preventable. Working to prevent fraud in ministry has become a mission for Glenn, it was one of the reasons for starting Miller Management. Now Glenn hopes to bring more awareness to this issue by teaching and distributing anti-fraud materials in his community and beyond. One resource already available is Confessions of a Church Felon.

“It is estimated that worldwide fraud in ministry will hit 60 billion dollars this year. What if we reduced ministry fraud by 10, 20 or even 50%? That would equate to 6, 12 or up to 30 BILLION dollars to feed the hungry, build new churches and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.” –  Glenn A. Miller, MBA, DEdMin, CEO, Certified Fraud Examinar

HLGU Commencement Speaker

After his seminary graduation, the weekend wasn’t over for Dr. Miller. He was also the commencement speaker for Hannibal LaGrange University! Dr. Miller is a member of the HLGU Board of Trustees and currently serves as board treasurer, executive committee member, and chairman of the presidential review committee; he also had a son, Ben, in the 2018 graduating class.

“Miller’s commencement address centered around it’s title of ‘We Can Do Better,’ as he encouraged the graduates and those present to be unified in love toward one another, even when disagreeing with each other.” You can read more about the commencement ceremony here: http://www.hannibal.net/news/20180507/hlgu-celebrates-commencement.
