When you outsource something, you are importing expertise and exporting problems! That may have already been enough to convince you, but in case you want more information, this blog series will cover the eight areas that Miller Management provides when you outsource your accounting and/or payroll with our experts.

Top 8 Categories:

Expertise

Today, we will cover the second topic on the list: Expertise. If you missed the first category, click here to read about the Accountability Miller Management can provide.

Part of the cost for Miller Management clients includes the Expertise our staff can provide. This comes from our total years of accounting and payroll work with churches and nonprofits. From our degreed accountants and other certificates our staff have acquired; including Certified Fraud Examiners, Certified Public Accountants, and Notary Publics.

Expertise. Clarity. Confidence.

Education & Training

Continued education is also something our company values and gives time for our staff to incorporate. Whether that is traditional school – such as Master’s degrees, doctrinal work, or Certified Fraud Examiners – or just industry specific business trainings on how to excel in our current sphere.

Many of our staff have worked or volunteered in a church or currently hold a position in their local church. With our current clients and our Training + Consulting, our business has touched over 3,000 ministries in 28 different denominations. Our team has been around the block a time or two, which means we’ve seen many different things inside of churches and nonprofits.

Staff Transitions

One of the greatest benefits of outsourcing versus hiring your own staff is the staff transition piece. When there is a staff transition in your ministry, you have to incorporate time for searching for a replacement and the onboarding process. Within MM, our staff are trained to handle their caseload, cover for a co-worker, or graduate a client on to a different staff member.

When we are onboarding our clients, there is extensive training with your MM representatives. Our experts have also come up with forms and resources for our clients to use in their everyday accounting and payroll processes. If the contact at your organization needs to change for any reason, don’t worry, we also provide training for your new staff with our processes, free of charge.

“Many of our staff come from church and non-profit work and continue to volunteer in their church in various financial positions. At Miller Management we are driven by our mission to serve churches and nonprofits. Our staff come to us specifically because they believe in that mission. Our work with churches and non-profits has given us an unparalleled level of experience and expertise. While every organization is different and unique, the overall principles of accounting, financial accountability, and good reporting, remain consistent with all of our clients.”
