Technology in 1989

Category: Miller Moments

Continuing with our celebration year, we wanted to share some technology from the birth year of our company: 1989.

The Computer

Where would our lives and jobs be without these little babies? All I know is how thankful I am that they still don’t look like this…

The things we are capable of doing now, both for personal use and for our clients, is incredible. For example, we now have apps and online portals for daily office use. Instead of the very limited access – though very technologically high-tech for it’s era – online systems.

And aren’t we glad this isn’t the price range for a computer anymore? {Oh, wait. Sorry, gaming industry.}

Fax Machines

While most things surrounding technology have changed at Miller Management, some have not. The fax machine was a hot item in 1989, and it is actually still used in our office today. Yes, it looks and sounds different. And it works a bit differently, too. {Because, if we’re honest, who could work all day next to that sound?}

But all of that is on purpose.

Whether your non-profit is stuck in the 80’s or you are part of a high-tech church plant, we can accommodate you. And that is something in which we take great pride.

Still in love with the 80’s

After all, we still enjoy a few things from the 80’s/90’s ourselves. 🙂
