In February 2024, Miller Management's co-founder and CEO, Glenn Miller's battle with cancer ended and he passed away. He will always be fondly remembered for his work and dedication to help serve churches and ministries. He is missed by family, friends, and colleagues, but his legacy continues through this company he helped build. Dr. Glenn Miller was the co-founder and CEO of Miller Management. With over 40 years’ experience and passion for his company and this industry, his life’s work has been dedicated almost exclusively on churches, education, and nonprofits. His experience included consulting and training for countless churches and ministries; teaching for over 28 years at multiple universities and seminaries; serving as church treasurer for three churches; served 10 years as a board member and treasurer for Heartland International Ministries; and served as a board chair, treasurer, and board member at Hannibal LaGrange University for eight years. He has also served at numerous seminaries and Christian colleges as CFO and Dean of Administration.
He co-authored three books: "Pastoral Helmsmanship," 2014, "Confessions of a Church Felon," 2015, and "Managing Conflict," 2019. He was the founder of the Institute for Church Management and has won numerous awards for his teaching at Baker University. He was the recipient of "Life Service Award" from Southwest Baptist University, 2019. His areas of expertise included contract CFO work, strategic planning, consulting, and management & leadership.
Glenn’s work, along with the staff of Miller Management, touched over 3,000 ministries through consulting, training, and accounting work. On the rare occasion that he wasn’t working at the MM office, you would have found Glenn working on his 15 acre “ranch” and spending time with his family which included his wife, four adult children, and nine grandchildren.
