Navigating Conflict
As we mentioned in our latest Client Newsletter, we have been keeping a secret around here, and we are so excited we get to share this information today!
Side Note:
If you are a current client and you haven’t been receiving our newsletter, let one of your Miller Management representatives know, and we can add you to the every other month publication list.
Our CEO and his two besties have been at it again. Their third book released last week, and this topic is another hot one.
This new book will help your organization navigate the inevitable conflict that is going to show up in your relationships. Unless you don’t work with people – but then there is always the chance you will have an argument with yourself – but that would require a quite different book… 🙂
First Book
The authors of this book – Dr. Rodney A. Harrison, Dr. Jeffery A. Klick, and Dr. Glenn A. Miller – have also written two other books together. The first, Pastoral Helmsanship, is coming up on its fifth anniversary.
The Professor, the Pastor, and the Practitioner came together to write this book with focused goals. Only 1-2% of typical seminary training covers what normally consumes 40-60% of a pastor’s time: church administration. With over a century of experience between them, the authors trust that the insights shared in this handbook/textbook will help encourage you as you serve in the Kingdom of God.
Second Book
The second book from the trio is entitled Confessions of a Church Felon, and is based upon an actual church fraud case.
Often a taboo subject, fraud runs rampant in the Body of Christ. This must change, and this book can and will help! Clear, concise, and practical, Confessions will guide the reader through all the steps needed to eliminate fraud. In addition, the book will show you how to walk through the difficulties of dealing with fraud if discovered. The Church must raise the standard of financial integrity, and Confessions will show you how!
