National Book Month
October is National Book Month? Okay, we’ll play along…here is a short list of some books the team at Miller Management have been a part of. And some the team has read for staff development. You can read more about each one at the link below.
Books from the MM Team
Pastoral Helmsmanship (released in 2014) is having it’s 10th birthday this year.
Why they wrote it: Only 1-2% of typical seminary training covers what normally consumes 40-60% of a pastor’s time: church administration. With over a century of experience between them, the authors trust that the insights shared in this handbook/textbook will help encourage you as you serve in the Kingdom of God.

Confessions of a Church Felon (released in 2015)
Why they wrote it: Based on a true story – Confessions will guide the reader through all the steps needed to eliminate fraud. In addition, the book will show you how to walk through the difficulties of dealing with fraud if discovered.

Navigating Conflict (released in 2019)
Why they wrote it: Everyone has conflict. We can be defeated by it or grow as a result of it, but we will not be able to avoid it. Our third book together as authors provides a way through conflict, to growth and redemption. Combining over 100 years of ministry experience, we share stories, pain, victories, and defeats to help others mature in walking through the inevitable.
