January 2021 Festivities
Each January the management team wants to provide some necessary stress reliving activities – or food – to the staff of Miller Management. It’s become a time honored tradition, and something to look forward to during the crazy, and sometimes gloomy, days of the new year.

Staff Fellowship
Similar to last year we had custard, hot chocolate, and a spirit week. Some photo evidence that accountants can have fun. 🙂
True Meaning of Year-End
But in all seriousness, the most important part of January is Year-End season. This is the time of year when our staff works diligently to wrap up the previous year’s financials, deliver bonus paychecks, print W-2’s and 1099s, and produce contribution statements.
This is, of course, in addition to our normal weekly work. Naturally, staff will be putting in longer days – or extra days – for our clients.
See our #thisisyearend posts on social, for some behind the scenes activity.
Longer hours, more paperwork, and extra chocolate breaks; all to help our clients have a successful year-end season. That’s what makes it all worth it!
Year-End Wrap Up
For 2020, our processes and services had to adapt to incorporate the challenges that the year brought. {As with the rest of the world.} Towards that end, we introduced a new product {which you will hear even more about in the coming days}, we updated some of our processes, and had lots of virtual planning and adapting meetings.
The staff were champs in keeping up with all the changes, and our clients were so gracious as we were figuring out everything together – in real time – hello, PPP.
One of our biggest take-a-ways from the year, was how “God has blessed us in the middle of the country to do amazing things. But we aren’t stopping here, we have big plans to continue to adapt to change, provide relevant services, and bring clarity to your Payroll and Accounting.” – Chris Miller, VP of Business Development
