In / Out List

Category: Miller Moments

I’m sure you’ve seen these types of lists before. Things we say we want to focus on in the upcoming year, and things we want to do less of in the upcoming year. They are usually frivolous things or walk the line of some type of self-improvement.

As a marketer myself, I especially enjoyed this list from MarketingProfs:

MM Staff Poll

Which led me to ask our staff about their own lists! But trying to make it semi-relatable to you guys? You’ll have to let me know how I did. (Also, I heard these lists themselves were on their way “out” but I won’t tell if you won’t.)

We did a just for fun poll at the office and here are the results for those that voted:

MM Staff Persona

Why is this relevant to you? Well, it mostly gives you a behind the scenes look at the personality of our employees. We want the personal touch of a handwritten note, but we’ll make it efficient. We enjoy getting to relax and unwind in our music, tv, & fiction reading. But we will be a bit introspective in our planning and journaling.

These type of people are efficient, engaged, organized, and imaginative. They make great co-workers, smart consultants, and socially engaged people. {Were you surprised by that one?!?} They look at your finances as a whole, understand why you care about people, and contemplate the possibilities while weighing the realistic numbers.

Sometimes our accountants and payroll specialists get a bad reputation for being number robots. But not you – you know our people and know that doesn’t describe them … Not all of them, all the time anyway.

You’re In / Out List

What are some items on your in out list for 2025? And if you use our prompts, put your answers into an AI generator and ask how it would describe you. Like we did. Or just let us know if you’re similar on our Facebook post.
