Each class will be an online training course. Some will be multiple days, while others will only be a couple hours. An eBook will be available for most classes. Some will have both evening and day time sessions available.

Pastors, Associate Pastors, Financial staff, Treasurers, Finance Committee members, and Board members. Any church leadership is welcome!


6 Essentials of Church Financial Management

This six-week course will meet online each Tuesday at 12:00 pm CST for one hour from February 7th to March 14th. The course will meet live, online, for six weeks, covering one topic per week.

Your ticket price includes the purchase of two books, Confessions of a Church Felon and Pastoral Helmsmanship, A Guide to Church Administration. Pre class reading and discussion questions help enhance the learning experience. 


5 Keys to Utilizing Your Financial Data

This one-and-a-half hour course will meet online on April 4th either at 11:30 am or 6:00 pm. An eBook and the online course are provided with your ticket price. Learn how to read and understand your financial statements by focusing on these five key items.

Having accurate and timely financial statements is essential for every ministry. How to read and understand those statements is just as important. This 90 minute course will walk you through the bases of accounting, the three financial statements your ministry needs to have and understand, and then you will learn about how to utilize that information to help your ministry make informed decisions.


Creating an Effective and Efficient Offering Counting System

This two-hour course will meet online on September 12th at either 11:00 am or 6:00 pm. An eBook and the online course are provided with your ticket price.

This is one of our most popular classes because every ministry needs a counting system that is organized and is accountable. This course will provide a roadmap to setting up an effective and efficient counting system complete with procedures, forms, and all the necessary components needed to be successful.


Mission Driven Budgeting – Adopting the S.O.A.R. Budget Model

This four-hour / two-day course will be offered on July 11th & July 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. An eBook and the online course are provided with your ticket price.

This course will provide the foundation for taking your current budget process to a mission driven, annual goal setting process that aligns all of your ministry resources directly to your mission. This annual process will increase teamwork and communication and decrease politics. The goal is to align all your resources to more effectively meet your mission.


Building Trust and Credibility Through Financial Integrity

This two-hour course will be offered online on November 14th at either 11:00 am or 6:00 pm. An eBook and the online course are provided with your ticket price. This class is offered as an organization pass for up to three people.

With worldwide ministry fraud topping 80 billion dollars, it’s time we take financial integrity more seriously. This course will illuminate the issues of fraud in ministry, why fraud happens in churches, provide best practices that will significantly reduce the opportunity of fraud, and in turn, help build trust and credibility with your constituents.
