Administrative Professionals Appreciation Day
Let’s Celebrate!
The Wednesday of the last full week in April is National Administrative Professionals Week. This year, it falls on April 22nd. We definitely appreciate our Admins, and know you all do to!
During these unusual times, your Virtual Assistants may be the person who is helping keeping everyone together; since they are the ones who are already used to working from home. If your organization doesn’t normally have work from home days, or doesn’t employ a VA, then we are all learning this new world together.
We wanted to put a few ideas together to help show you how you can still show support & appreciation to these key players on your team.
Reach Out
During times of isolation, it is even more important to make sure we are doing all we can to reach out to those around us. We have some ideas on our Pinterest board; but we may need to be a little more creative right now. So don’t skip over the obvious: mail an appreciation card, or email / IM / text them a fun meme. 🙂
Just because you can’t actually take them to lunch, you can still send a gift card. Or send flowers to their virtual work-space. Or find a creative way to do whatever you might do normally do to show your appreciation to your Administrative Professionals.
The Rest of Your Gang
While we are mostly focusing on Admin Pros for this post, we also wanted to make a note to reach out to all your teammates during this time. Virtually, of course. 🙂 Find the web software that works best for you to have your normal meetings. But also find time to just check-in with one another.
Some software our company is utilizing include Microsoft Teams and Zoom. We realize that there are so many great options available, so find what works for your team.
