Check Request to Church Financials
In today’s installment of our Summer Road-Trip Series, we will walk you through the church financial statement process. After a quick pit-stop to grab that XL drink…now, we’re ready to dive in.
Uploading Information
Payroll information, accounts payable information, deposits, and journal entries all feed into the general ledger system to ultimately provide the detail for the monthly financial statements.
All the information comes to us through our Payroll Team and Client Services Team – based on the way your organization provided it to them. If you missed our first stop, learn how a Check Request Becomes a Check; or our second stop: how Payroll Requests Become Payroll Checks
Want to check out our team? We’d love for you to get to know us better.
Downloading Information
After we have received the bank statements, reconciled the bank accounts, and balanced revenue to the contribution system, we will produce month-end reports; including charts and graphs. Financial statements are produced monthly and a compilation report produced at the end of each fiscal year.
Each week your team is also sent a dashboard with the basic financial position of your organization. All of these things give the organization a better picture of expenses versus giving each month, which helps leadership make more informed decisions.

The next stop on our road-trip is about the extras Miller Management provides. Time to grab that snack from the gas station to be ready to cover more ground.
