2023 Service Projects
You may notice that most staff have some form of volunteering in their bios. But that just doesn’t seem to be enough for this group of number loving people. Over the past several years we’ve gathered as small groups to help local ministries.
Today we will focus on Kansas City’s Spring Service Project (Springfield’s time will happen later this fall.) And scroll down below to see some of our past projects.
Kansas City Serve Day
Bethel Neighborhood Center provides many different services to help their community. Some of those endeavors include a food pantry, sewing classes, transportation, and a local place for students to hang out in their after care ministry. They are also in the middle of an expansion project to help reach even more people.
During our time volunteering, we were able to wash countless chairs and tables that are used everyday. Provide some window washing and floor cleaning. And tidy up the inside of their vehicles. Even their staff couldn’t help but jump in during parts of the projects.
Another way our staff were able to give back was to BNC’s food pantry. We loaded down a few cars with donations of pantry staples to help restock their shelves.
Thanks to the MM staff that were able to make it to our KC service project day or donate to the pantry. We are so glad to get to work with such a great group of people!
